Registration for Copper Cup opens on May 24th. This year all events will only be at one rink.
If you are are in need of a hotel we have worked with the Best Western Plus CottonTree Inn to get a group discount. Discounted rooms are limited so act fast.

We are excited to announce this years Copper cup for 2025 that will be held once again at our amazing rink in Bountiful Utah.

We have worked with Best Western in North Salt Lake to help offer our visiting skaters a discounted group rate. To get the group rate you will need to call to make reservations and mention that this is for the Copper Cup 2025 skating competition.

The hotel is only a 7 minute drive from the rink as well as walking distance from a number of restaurants

All registered skaters will be able to choose one event to receive as a complimentary Photo/Video package provided by Local Motion Productions. An email will be sent out the week of the competition asking what event you would like as your complimentary gift.

Video will not include audio as instructed by USFSA.

Additional Photo/Video packages will be available for purchase during the competition or on the LMP website.

Live and on-demand streaming, and sales and distribution of U.S. Figure Skating sanctioned and approved events, programs, and activities that include the playback of music is strictly prohibited. This prohibition does not apply to the distribution of footage that does not include music. Questions about this can be directed to music@usfigureskating.org.

No flash photography is allowed in the rink area during competition. Flash photography is dangerous to the skaters. According to U.S. Figure Skating policy, no personal videotaping of other competitors will be allowed during the competition. Podium will be available for personal photography.

FAQ's

What date will my event be on ? As with most US Figure Skating Competitions there are dozens of factors that go into building the schedules. We know this makes organizing travel arrangements difficult. Our team will do everything we can to send out schedule information as soon as we can after registration has closed.
Will there be two Copper Cup locations again this year ? No. Copper Cup will only be at one rink this year. We plan to avoid having two events running at the same time in the future.
